Barracuda Swimming is committed to promoting the development of
valuable life skills through the sport of swimming!
Team unity is very important to Barracuda Swimming. Although swimming is very
much an individual sport, the team aspect plays an extremely important role in how
swimmers perform. To encourage team unity Barracudas participate in a variety of
social gatherings. Some of the gatherings are purely social, but others are both
social and exercise. During the summer the team goes on bike rides and hikes.
They go to the water slides and enjoy team bbq's. During the winter months they
often times go to movies or go bowling. Many swimmers become close friends and
spend social time together outside of the organized team activities.
